(I wrote this post yesterday but decided not to publish, but now I've changed my mind so here's a shorter edited version)
I just got back from Bradford as our family was invited to open roza at our cousin's house. What made it even more interesting was that one of the guys was getting married from "back home" and was jetting off the very next day along with most of his family. So as you can imagine we had a good few conversations with a lot of laughs.
Now the thing is, my cousin is a bit of a coconut - mix that in with an arranged marriage and the outlook doesn't look too good. I don't want to say too much because there may be a cousin or two who reads this blog so I'm hoping you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.
It's kinda emotional wishing someone all the best when you've grown up with them, especially when you know you're not going to be there to mark one of the (if not the) most important moments of their life. I marked my exit with a quick 'jappi', a few reassuring words (aswell as wishing him all the best), and a firm handshake.
So when are you biting the dust, then?

Ohh...did i just hear a wistful tone?
