It's been three days and I still can't believe that Jose Mourinho has left Chelsea. Now I ain't no real hardcore football fan but even I know that he brought some love to the game (especially when it seemed like Fergie was history). To even think he only made his presence felt back in 2004 and then went to achieve so much in so little.
Always loved the way he played mind games with top managers such as Fergie, Wenger, and Benitez aswell as causing a ruckus with referees. Got to give it to him for speaking his mind, not many can do that. It's a real shame that he's left the English league and honestly I don't think he'll be back here any time soon (though it would be a blessing to the game and the country if he did).
Out of all the shit that has happened, Mourinho is the overall winner. Fair enough he didn't achieve all he wanted at Chelsea due to his surprise departure, but look at him now. Multi-million pound payoff, respect from club and country, and to top it off even more, rich football executives from all over the world begging him to grace them with his presence. Not a bad position to be in, not bad at all.
Don't know about you guys but I for one am looking forward to the next stage of Mourinho, you can be certain wherever he ends up there'll be a trophy or two with his name on it.
With Jose leaving i feel like a kid of divorce parents, confused as to where my loyalty lies and scared to make a choice between the two. He brought great character, winning methodoligy and most importantly magic to the Bridge.
Just tells you that football is nothing more but a business now, lets hope Roman A sells the club and the new owner brings back the Special One.
Long live Mourinho .....
