end of an era

I had to make a return to blogging for this one. If you don't already know (I get the feeling you do), Sobi aka "queen bee" quit the blogging scene yesterday and I was shocked, shocked I tell ya!
I'm kind of concerned though because she went on to delete the whole of her wonderful blog which makes convincing her return extremely difficult. After speaking to her she told me she was "done" with blogging, made me think ... does blogging have an expiry date? Because when I don't want to update etc I tend to dissappear and then come back "refreshed" (as such), now only if we could get her to do that i.e. take a break then make a return.
It's really sad to see her go because she's been on the scene longer than I have (not saying I've been here long) and I'm sure this applies to a lot of people too. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, even when you had "one of those days" you could check her musings daily and you'd be certain there was something new each time, sometimes serious, sometimes light-hearted, and sometimes plain outright Sobi ha ha ha (ah damn, need to see those ha ha ha's somewhere).
I'm hoping a month or two down the line she'll have a change of heart and decide, (instead of surpressing 'em) to use her superpowers for the benefit of mankind and enlighten the world once again. C'mon Sobi, you don't need me to tell you ... with great power comes great responsibility?
I'll finish off this post with my first encounter with this super women who left a message on my (now non-existant) guestbook ...
