Maybe later I will tell you why I've been slacking off ... maybe not (can't blog about girls publicly now can I?) instead I'll tell you about my aunt and uncle who live next door. They've been here for a little over a year and thing is ... she's towards the end of her pregnancy (can you say jaldi jaldi in a desi accent?).
Yesterday Aapa says to me that if Aunty Ji needs to go to the hopsitaal (as us desi's say) at night or the day after then I would have to take her in MY car since my uncle can't drive. I tell her no flippin way and that if I wanted to take on hubby roles I would get married, there's just something about 'wife chores' (someone else's I mean) such as these that I can't bring myself round to.
Just imagine the situation ... me driving, traffic lights go red (waiting times 1000 or so it feels like), and Aunty cursing away at her penguin legs. Sorry, not something I want to be part of. Luckily I didn't get drawn into any of Aapa's plans as I had lent my car to a friend, ha ha ha.
This meant Aapa was on call out during the night, she first took her to the hospital at 4am and then got a call at 6 from the hospital saying false alarm. Way to go Aapa, I don't know how you managed to go to work with four hours sleep! Then there was me on the other hand knocked out silly without a care in the world, ah bliss.
I wake up to a text from Aapa at 10:30 telling me what had happened. During the day me, bob, and feesa are the only 'responsible' (I use the word lightly) people at home and to be honest with you guys we were not as concerned as I think my uncle and aunt wanted us to be, after all we knew we couldn't aid them in anyway.
For some reason my uncle rings my rents who are holidaying in Australia and tells them whatever and they advise to ring my cousins for help. Next thing we know we're getting a gazillion phone calls from cousins asking about her stage, like the hell we know what's happening? So one of my other aunties pops over to her house and takes her to the hospital. I'll be damned if I get a lecture over this from the rents when they get back!
Oh yeah, you're probably wondering about the title. Aapa says aunty was screaming "hai allah, hai allah" when she first took her to the hopsitaal. We're still not sure on what stage she's at ...
awww I think my pini got a girl...how cute....ok now to the post...thats soo funny...penguin legs...my gawd...you guys come up with the funniest description...anyways chill...laters.

Your Uncle caleed your RENTS???OMG! Do you guys always allow rents to be this invovled in family matters?
Err...no...hai Allah would not be the last stage. Tell anyone who calls...'yeah. Almost there.' Works everytime.
Ok latest news is she's had a healthy baby boy weighing 5 lbs. Congrats to her ...
