Dad tells me that my car's right indicator light is not working. It's a surprise to me.
"Y'know on the dashboard the right indicator light flashes faster than the left one?"
"Yeah … so?"
"That means either at the front or back one of 'em is not working"
For the past two months people who've sat with me have been asking why that is. I had no idea why and have been telling 'em it must be on crack while the other one is sober. It was the only logical explanation I could think of and made sense too.
What I'm trying to say is I really hate cars, they get on my nerves. Now that I think of it, I don't know when the MOT or the road tax finishes (or if it's still valid!), or even when it requires servicing.
It's been eight months and I've not even opened my car insurance pack, so I don't know what it covers or if they've got the correct details.
The way I see it, driving is a chore. I always feel sorry for the old folks who have to try ever so hard to concentrate on the roads. I only hope it's not something I have to do when I'm an old and grey, because that would be torture.
You hate cars, imagine what dad goes through!
Ahhh tell me about it, my car is a right pain. if the engine hasn't seized, the brake shoes have fallen in love and have joined together, or then its my reverse lights which have gone awol. tut, I hate cars!!
I love toyota yaris!...thought I will just say that...what car do you drive? laters.
This coming from a boy? Wow.. that's a first!! Hehee.. what would we all women do if our hubbys hated car maintainance like you do?? haha.. you better marry a wife who loves driving and knows how to change the oil etc. hehee..!!
I don't hate cars, but it's definately better to be driven than to drive!
Feesa, yeh I know but what can you do ...
Smee, right on - if its not one thing its another! The little things get me annoyed, like changing a bulb or filling up, urgh.
No One, a lot of girls like the yaris so I'm not surprised about your choice. It's not that good a car (and that's coming from me, hah). Oh and I drive a suzuki swift (you never heard of it either?)
Marigold, I'll try but I don't think such a women exists otherwise wouldn't every guy have one?
Naz, I think thats exactly why you don't hate cars! Driving and maintenance is another headache (btw are you passed?)
Thanks for the comments guys.
I didn't want to re-comment but to add to your response to Marigold...my younger sister is training to become a car mechanic (inshallah all running smoothly).
Maybe I could raffle her off eh?
nah, I've not passed yet...and in no rush either!
Ouch... MOT. Tax. I know the Volvo needs an exhaust, and that's 300 quid alone. And a couple of tyres... and then 2x cars to tax on the 31st... man, I gotta sell something LOL
