I've noticed most blogs on blogspot.com are flickering up and down and showing an error message, it's been like this all day. My guess is it has something to do with the "new Blogger" they are pushing forward for new registrations, seems like they did a rush job on the new version inorder to try and keep up with Wordpress.
Everywhere on Blogger they're encouraging users to "switch now" from old to new. Well, if you're going to switch do yourself a favour and switch to Wordpress instead. There's an option to transfer all your posts from Blogger so you should have no problem at all.
Blogger beta was working fine, there's a saying that springs to mind which I'm sure everyone has heard of - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!".
When I saw that Blogger had crossed off the "beta" in it's logo I was thinking to myself this must be one of a few Google has taken out of beta and what happens? It shits its pants and collapses on the floor grasping for air.
Big G, keep things in beta, we don't mind (as long as they work that is).
FYI: screenshot of error message.
I started out using Blogger, then onto MovableType, before finally settling for Wordpress, which is the best blogging platform I've used.
Blogger has always been behind the times. It was slow to support comments, still doesn't support trackbacks, and has always had stability problems.
My advice: get Wordpress :-)
i am still not able to visit blogger blogs. i am from india. hope blogger comes soon.

Hey Queenie, this is what you'll have to do to transfer posts from Blogger to Wordpress.
1. Sign into the Wordpress dashboard
2. Click on 'Manage' then 'Import'
3. On the Import page click on 'Old Blogger' and then follow the instructions
You will need to be using 'Old Blogger' as opposed to the new one they're rolling out for this to work.
I've been considering WordPress for a while as I use it elsewhere and it's really awesome. But then, Blogger got me started and that's how I met BBFK, so I stick with it for sentimental reasons too :) But as for the push to get us to use the same google login... I'd rather stay oldskool.
Flickr's doing the same now... they want us to have a Yahoo login... I feel it's eroding the lowest levels of anonymity that some of us still think we have :)
Their old system was way too primitive. I guess they are having trouble keeping both things running at the same time.
Truth is that problems like these cannot be identified unless you go live :) Not Big G's fault :D take it from brotha who works on a 100000 user hits handling site :P
