Yesterday me, Rio, and Abz were playing football in Dewsbury Market Place at 12am for nearly an hour and it was ace! We were bashing the Christmas tree and I had to climb the stalls twice to get the football. It was a spur of the moment thing that's why I think we enjoyed ourselves more than we would (or should) have.
Today Aapa, Bob, and Feesa went to the Next sale at 5am, yeah crazy I know! It was my uncle's idea (who lives next door) and Aapa said she would drive them there eventhough it's less than 5 mins away.
She asked me the day before if I wanted to hop along, I told her "why not?" but when it was time to wake up I could so not see the point of going (maybe cos I went to sleep at 1am?).
Anyway Aapa was laughing her head off saying she couldn't believe she was up this early to go shopping, Feesa was live, and Boba was feeling drained (I think she only went cos Feesa did).
When I woke up and came downstairs they were chatting away saying they had to wait 3 minutes for the store to open, there were approx 50 people ahead of them in the que, and all the good stuff was gone in half an hour! WT(friggin)F?! I thought we were a rich nation!
Me, I couldn't give a shit, I hate shopping and crowds so F all this - makes me all nauseous. I'm glad I didn't go.
Next thing ... Eid. Since I'm "man of the house" (oh please refrain from laughing) I can kinda choose what day to do Eid on, either the Saturday or Sunday. We were discussing it and I think we're gonna do it on the Saturday (cos it's more conveniant for us, heh).
I got the day off work Saturday so that's a bonus in itself. My dad and our rels usually do Eid on the same day and my chacha (dad's brother) says he's doing his on Sunday. Now I'm not feeling that.
My rents are going to be doing their hajj on the Friday which means Eid is on Saturday right? I hope he doesn't get annoyed if I do mine on a different day to his. Do let me know what day you decide to do yours.

We are celbrating on Saturday..the masjid is going on Sunday.
