A Little Under The Weather

Ever since Sunday morning when I setoff to work (in the freezing cold snowy weather), I've come down with a bug; got a headache, sore throat, flu, and a temperature. I even had a nap around 6'ish! Then I knew something was wrong.
Next day, didn't go to Uni and had a lie in 'cos I hadn't managed to get any sleep. In the evening it was time to go to work, and check this I only had to go in for an hour! (Because of the number of holiday hours left)
You might be thinking ace, only an hour; let me have you in the know it takes an hour to get there (not including the time it takes to get ready) and an hour to get back. I was thinking of calling in sick (because I was) but it occurred to me they'll probably think "oh he's pulling a sickie because he's only in for an hour" so I decided not to.
Because of the awful weather and me not feeling well, I decided to pad up (sorta like an American football player). Went to my room and raided my wardrobe wearing as many clothing items as possible. Walked out wearing 2 pairs of socks, 2 trackies with trousers on top, 6 tops (2 t-shirts, 2 normal tops, and 2 jumper-like thingies) and on top of that, my coat.
As I was walking to the train station I was still feeling cold, only when I was on the train I began feeling ok. Work flew past, and I even did 25 minutes unpaid! (Why? I'll never know)
Today, skipped Uni (again) – just lying in bed on the laptop relaxing. Sometimes I need days where I don't do anything at all, and this is one of 'em. Laptop's not helping my headache, but still ...
