While it seems every other person is trying to lose weight, I'm facing the issue of trying to gain it. Since rozay have finished Mum, Dad, and Grandma are saying I've become too skinny and are wanting me to gain some weight. They started saying this when they saw me wearing a t-shirt. I don't know if this is because they are desi but when asking my sisters, they agree too.
I'm naturally thin and because I've got a super fast metabalism rate I'm finding it difficult to do so. How am I supposed to gain a few pounds, what should I be eating? Ask Mum and she'll say eat more roti, and Dad says eat more everything. I can only eat to a certain extent before my stomach begins to feel full and roundish.
I asked a cousin and he said get married, then you'll automatically be fatter, and then your missus will be bugging you to lose some. Nah I don't think I'll be doing that. What I will be doing though is signing up for the Uni gym and see if that makes a difference. Any advice anyone?
Yeah, come live with me for a momth and your ass will be be the size of rawalpindi....!
Keep eating all day is the best way, small meals through the course of the day,
S
PS: Lucky Bastard!
Advice? Stay as you are and don't worry about it, everybody's different. Though being too big may put a strain on your body, my 16 y.o. bro is 6'4", about 20 stone, has size 16/17 feet and is mega unfit, possibly diabetic. Personally I gotta lose weight, I'm down from 85kg to 81kg in a week and very happy swapping the beer barrel for a six pack ;)
Whatever makes you feel good dude :)
Samarkand - Wow thats the best offer I've ever had ;-) Thanks for the tip will try it from now on.
Lever - *gasp* You could help your bro out, take him cycling with you or somefink. He could make an excellent bouncer though ...
I weighed myself yesterday and found out I'm 9 1/2 stone, not bad me thinks.
velcome to the club mate. i suffer the safe disease. just that i dont consider it one. i just laff at the fatasses. lol.
it's easier to gain weight than losing it so stay the way you are. leave the eatin to the grown ups
listen mate take my advice and steer clear of what your familiy are saying. they just trying to make you in to a "palwaan", might want to get you married off soon- you do the math
finally someone who shares the SAME problem as me!!! i have been trying since aaaages to gain more pounds, especially since everyone has been on my case pretty much all my life now.. well this is what worked for me- you should start working out more. you're gonna build up more muscle and you will start getting hungry more. the best part is, you wont bloat, just look a lot more healthier. i agree with kashmiri jatt, its a blessing for us in disguise =)
lucky you is all I have to say!!! :-)
My hubby gained weight after marrying me!! :O oops! and he's still trying to get it off.
Don't listen to their advice..... I didn't gained weight, actually i lost a couple of pounds, cuz before i used to work out, and after getting married the workout days got cut.... and after being a dad, the workout went to the trash can all together, so i lost muscles, which translated in losing weight..... still miss em :( *sniff*
Have been planning on restarting the workout, but my son keeps me up late at night and then i don't have to energy to get up early in the morning. oh well, maybe one day :)
My bro's too fat & lazy to go biking but he does play rugby =) He also wants to be a copper, so that could be fun too LOL
