Loads of thoughts going through my mind as always, just too lazy to update the blog so here goes ...
When walking through Leeds from the train station what is it with all the beggars and Big Issue sellers? Beggars are like 'Got a spare 50p mate?' what did you say? Spare money? Is there such a thing besides I'm skint myself, get a job dickface. It's not like there's one of 'em, quite a few crack heads/alcoholics.
At least Big Issue sellers are trying to work for the money, as it said on one guy's orange shirt 'Working not begging'. When I first started working in Leeds I gave a bit to both beggars and Big Issue sellers but I cant fork out dosh everytime I see 'em. Also there are a few people who you know are going to high when they have enough, for example I saw a Big Issue seller talking to girl who you could clearly tell was on drugs. I heard her say to him something along the lines of 'needing a fix', it was clear that they knew each other and that he would help her. This kind of thing discourages me giving money to these people.
On Monday my bruvver-in-law came over from America, Baltimore and is living with us at the mo. So that day we caught the last hour of the Huddersfield Mela missing all the main events due to him not being able to get out of the house quick enough, you know relatives, relatives, and more relatives who came over to visit.
As the Mela was shit (probably due to us being late) we headed off to CineWorld Cinema in Bradford. There were six of us guys and we had to decide which movie to watch, actually we couldn't decide because of the time (it was 8:20) and the next movie to begin was DUS at 8:30. I don't know if you're aware of this but I hate, hate, hate Indian movies but a 5 vote to 1 wasn't (obviously) going to get me out of it. There are so many things I hate about Indian movies, one being the ridiculous duration; it was for a painstaking 3 hours! Also this may come down as downright weird to some people but I also hate cinemas. I cant sit there and just watch a movie, when I saw Scary Movie 3 (I think it was just under 2 hours) I was fidgeting to stay awake. I don't know how I stayed through the whole of the film, probably because the in-law was there and decided to be considerate. At the end of it he's like 'That was a shit movie' in his American accent, I could have told him in the beginning two minutes. Also asian girls will laugh at anything when they're in a cinema even the cornyish, i-could-see-it-coming kind of jokes. Stupid asian lasses.
Yesterday we went to Kashmir Sweet Centre in Bradford as a treat from my sister, I wonder where they'll drag me next. She says we're to do a tour of London, I don't know why 'cos I've been loads of time and it's the same old shit and its no big deal. Alton Towers is one of the many others attractions she wants to go to. I don't why 'cos all her hubby wants to do is sleep and relax.
Also yesterday I reversed and hit into a brand new Audi after passing my driving test a few days before, yay! The driver (as well as my dad) was well vexed as you can so truly imagine, but I don't give a fuck. The truth is I hate cars (unless I'm going fast) and have no interest in them whatsoever. I don't know how people can look at a car and say its brand and type by just looking at the shape. Totally beyond me. I didn't even know which car I'd crashed into, I was thinking the car had something to do with the Olympics. The geek in me doesn't let me go down that road. Anyway the bill was £335 and I let the insurance cover it, that's what I'm paying it for ;-)
London bombings. Yes we all heard about the tragic events that took place on the 7th. News is unfolding as we speak and the bbc reported yesterday that there were 4 bombers, they (government) have evidence that 1 died in the blast and are unsure about the rest. The extraordinary shocking thing is that 2 (I think) of the evil-doers were from Dewsbury! You heard right; where I live. They must have had perfect camouflage here and this area is known for its mosques. There are like 8 mosques in Savile Town (my area) alone, never mind the whole of Dewsbury. Sometimes it feels weird because everywhere you go there's a mosque nearby. The other thing that Dewsbury is known for is Europe's biggest mosque called the MARKAZ. Can you believe that? Europe's biggest had to be in Dewsbury didn't it?!
I shudder to think that I may have walked past, saw in mosque or in the area these evil people who have no care for humanity. Urgh.
The other two bombers were from Leeds (which is where I work). The bbc say that 2 houses in Dewsbury were raided and 4 in Leeds. Another concern is that all the bombers were of British nationality (did they hell deserve it) and were Paki. Fuckin' had to be of the same origin as me so now they can make life harder for the rest of us (like it wasn't already).
Hope Gordon Brown can find a way to stop the finance of terrorism and freeze their assets.
My heart goes out to all the London victims and their families, we can get through this!
Ta ra for now.
how about telling the make and model of a car just by hearing it ;p
