Jippii Gamehouse Colors
Thursday 17th February 2005 10:38:00 AMIf you have been on the web long enough, it's likely that you have come across the two-player gaming portal Jippii.
Most Jippii gamers want to write in colored text while they're playing, so as someone who knows, I'll let you know how it's done.
Firstly, you have to create this character '¤', which is called a 'general currency sign'. This can be created by opening a text editor e.g. WordPad (Windows operating system) and pressing the numbers 0164 whilst keeping hold of the ALT key.
After you have released the ALT key, you will see the general currency character appear. Next to this character display the '#' key followed by the six character RGB color code which you wish to display your text in.
Choose the color of your choice from the web colors page. After you have chosen the color code, enter it next to the general currency sign and hash character. Select and copy this code, and paste it by pressing the CTRL + V keys before any text in the input box of the gamehouse.
Example:
The RGB colour code for red is FF0000 therefore the end code is ¤#FF0000. Here is the code for the color red shown in the input box with the text 'some text':
After submitting the entry, you will see the text appear in the color of your choice, as shown below:
As you can see from above the text 'some text' is in red.
