Apple have released a new Ipod called the Ipod Shuffle; it's a smaller version of the Ipod Mini and much cheaper.
It's available in two versions; one has a storage of 512 mb which is approximately 120 songs and is priced at £69, and the other is 1 gig, stores approximately 240 songs and is available for £99.01. Both are available with free shipping (at the moment anyway).
It seems to me that Apple wants every Tom, Dick, and Harry to be carrying an Ipod and so made it available at every price range. Their idea is to get people using the iTunes software which lets users download songs legally for 99p and then transfer them to the Ipod.
I was thinking of purchasing one before this one came out but now as everyone will have one I'm not so sure. Seeing everyone shakin' their Ipod is not my thing, and I'm no longer in the mood of giving into Apple.
Hopefully this will be the last Ipod release because I'm sick of all the mania. Apple sure knows how to milk a cash cow.
