Man Utd sign Rooney

Wayne Rooney, the 18 year old youngster who shone in Euro 2004, has managed to get himself out of the press for being a naughty boy and in it for joining the world's richest club. Both Newcastle and Man Utd had previously made offers for Rooney only to be dismissed by the club. United finally managed to clinch the star for £20 million. Rooney who had previously said he was happy at Everton released a statement saying it was a difficult decision to make but it was for the best. After all the things footballers have, fame, money, mansions, they also have the problem of being bought out. Rooney's call girls also faced the same dilemma.
